LEGO BATMAN: LEGACY OF THE DARK KNIGHT REVIEW

TT Games’ latest entry into the endless lineup of LEGO games has made a major unexpected splash in the industry. This game genuinely surprised me in all the best ways. Admittedly after its reveal I did not pay much attention to it but after seeing the large amount of positive community feedback I had to take a jump into Lego Gotham for myself; and I’m glad I did.

Legacy Of The Dark Knight feels like the Batman Arkham games of old; just with a ‘Lego-fied’ skin all over everything.  Instead of the bloated roster of most Lego titles it only focuses on 7 main characters that you learn and upgrade throughout the story. With a surprisingly well written narrative, dynamic combat, fleshed out upgrade system, and insanely fun traversal – I must say LEGACY OF THE DARK KNIGHT is my favorite LEGO game of all time. It also fuels a long-lost itch for a traditional Batman Arkham game that we haven’t gotten since 2014’s Arkham Knight by Rocksteady Games.

Legacy Of The Dark Knight earns a solid 8/10. Insanely well crafted, a fun and nostalgia fueled experience that makes you feel like a little kid again.
