Wearing Confidence: A Modern Man Prep

Clothing gains meaning through the person who wears it. There are many instances where it seems the clothes are wearing the person, not the other way around, and the sole reason is a lack of confidence. You should always wear what you’re comfortable and confident in; this makes for a better you and, believe it or not, a better outfit. Hence, confidence should be seen as an accessory whenever you put on an outfit; there should never be a moment of second-guessing once you put an outfit together, and if there is… tweak it until you make it your own.

Now I know it may sound easy to some, but trust me its a process. First, you have to find a style that makes you feel like a king, but with that comes consistency and factors that bring you back to overthinking: Is my haircut sharp? Do I look bigger today in this outfit? Is this too much for this event? These are some examples of thoughts that may rush to your mind, and that’s natural. That is why finding your confidence within yourself first goes a long way; the clothes are only half of the job. Once you find that confidence within yourself, you’ll fill in the next half easily.
