Stephon Rolle Leading with Respect, Style, and Real Presence

At just 16, Stephon Rolle is redefining what it means to be a young leader in The Bahamas. Recently crowned Mr. Bahamas National High School (BNHS) 2025, Stephon describes himself simply: “I’m passionate about volleyball, my faith, and environmental health.” While the title is an honor, it’s his vision and grounded nature that truly stand out.

The moment he was crowned, Stephon admits his first thought wasn’t about himself it was about his mom. “I never imagined I’d make it that far,” he says, crediting God’s grace, his coach, and his mentors for helping him reach that stage. For Stephon, the crown is not just recognition but a responsibility to inspire change, amplify youth voices, and advocate for causes close to his heart especially environmental health.

Leadership is nothing new to him. Beyond BNHS, Stephon also serves as Drama Club President, Key Club President, and Deputy Junior Councilor. Each role, he says, has taught him collaboration, humility, and the importance of serving with integrity. “Leadership isn’t about doing it all alone it’s about working together and uplifting others.”

Stephon’s reign as Mr. BNHS is about more than appearances. He envisions young Bahamian men stepping up as role models, teaching responsibility, respect, and confidence to the next generation. His own mission is to spark meaningful conversations while proving that making a difference can be impactful and fun.

Behind the spotlight, Stephon leans on a strong support system friends, mentors, his pageant family, and especially his mom, who never fails to keep him grounded with encouragement (and a few playful tie-pin jokes).

Looking ahead, Stephon plans to pursue a degree in Cybersecurity or Computer Science while continuing to mentor and lead. “Being a king isn’t about a crown,” he reflects. “It’s about integrity, humility, and inspiring others every single day.”
